As you approach Gibraltar, you'll travel through the Strait of Gibraltar, one of Europe's most remarkable marine environments. At its narrowest point, just 14 kilometres separate Europe from Africa, while the Strait connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Mediterranean. Its unique currents make it an important habitat and migration route for dolphins, whales, tuna, and other fish.
