Begin your journey by crossing the mighty Firth of Forth, taking in views of the world-famous Forth Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue north through the lush green countryside of the Kingdom of Fife.
As you travel up north, the landscapes start changing and soon you see the forested glens of Perthshire. Stop for a break to stretch your legs in one of the charming towns before continuing the journey deeper into the Highlands.
Pass the broad peaks of Cairngorms National Park, and stop at several viewpoints to capture the beauty along the way. Sweeping moorland, sparkling lochs, and rugged mountain ranges accompany you on your journey for a lunch break in one of the picturesque local towns in the heart of the Highlands.
Next, continue to Glenfinnan, a stunning glen nestled among mountains and overlooking Loch Shiel. It’s home to two icons – the Glenfinnan Monument and the Glenfinnan Viaduct, beloved by Harry Potter fans. Here, take time to reflect on the Jacobite Uprising of 1745 and explore the monument.
