Day 1
Journey from Edinburgh to the breath-taking Isle of Skye, passing through the stunning Scottish Highlands. Stop at Loch Lubnaig, the Great Moor of Rannoch, and the dramatic Glen Coe, capturing the beauty of these legendary landscapes. Our journey continues through fantastical landscapes. Shimmering lochs sleep underneath looming mountains, quiet valleys impress you with their unyielding beauty, as we make our way to Eilean Donan Castle. Cross the Skye Bridge to the mystical Misty Isle, where you’ll stay at Hame on Skye for two nights. You’ll be hungry after the day’s exploring so luckily there’s a bespoke dinner waiting for you that is included as part of your experience. Sample Skye’s delicious local flavours as you admire the sensational landscapes of the surrounding Roag Peninsula. After dinner, relax by the fire and maybe even enjoy a wee dram before getting a good night’s sleep.
Day 2
Skye’s beauty is unmatched, drawing travellers from around the world. Its landscapes whisper legends, etched in ruins and hidden in the mist. Today’s exploration is flexible ,perhaps the Faerie Pools, the Quiraing, or the legendary Old Man of Storr.
Portree’s colourful harbour offers a perfect lunch stop before we visit Talisker Distillery for a whisky tasting.
The day isn’t over. Hame is waiting - and so is another incredible meal. Don’t let that whisky lull you into a nap as we journey back through the landscapes of Skye; who knows what’s left to see?
We hope your appetite is as eager as ever, as we sit down for another dinner, sampling more of Skye’s quality tastes. Stomachs full, the evening is yours to enjoy by the fire or even a walk in the countryside.
Day 3
Farewell, Skye but the memories will last a lifetime. As we head back to the mainland, scenic stops along the way ensure a stunning send-off.
Crossing the Skye Bridge, we journey through valleys and lochs to our first stop: Rogie Falls. Walk across the suspension bridge for breath-taking views and maybe even spot salmon below.
Next, we arrive in Inverness, where you can explore and enjoy Highland cuisine. A final stop in charming Pitlochry offers one last treat before we head south.
As we cross the Firth of Forth with a view of Scotland’s three iconic Forth Bridges, you’re certain to have a story or two to tell your family and friends upon return or perhaps a new recipe to try!
