Unlike traditional sightseeing tours, this experience takes you beyond the busiest tourist hotspots to discover peaceful lakes, dramatic mountain scenery, medieval castles and hidden corners that many visitors never experience.
Your journey begins with a visit to the historic Cathedral of St Asaph before travelling into the heart of North Wales. Stop briefly in the mountain village of Bethesda to pick up supplies before continuing to the beautiful shores of Llyn Ogwen.
Here you'll enjoy an easy guided walk of approximately 5 km, surrounded by some of Wales' most breathtaking mountain scenery. Along the way your guide will share local history and Welsh legends while you experience Snowdonia on foot.
Continue along one of the region's most scenic mountain roads to a spectacular viewpoint overlooking Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales' highest mountain.
Later, explore the lakeside village of Llanberis and visit the impressive ruins of Dolbadarn Castle, built by the Welsh princes more than 800 years ago.
Before returning to Manchester, discover one final hidden gem, Ewloe Castle. Tucked away within peaceful woodland, this atmospheric medieval fortress is rarely included on day tours and provides the perfect ending to your adventure.

Our tours depart and return from the short stay car park at Manchester Picadilly train station. If you are in the station, just head down the stairs to where the taxi rank is and you will see our electric vehicle.
