Description

Join a walking tour of London's top sites. Tour Westminster Abbey, stroll through St James Park to see the exterior of Big Ben, and witness the Changing of The Guard near Buckingham Palace.
This three-hour walking tour combines London's most iconic royal experiences with expert guidance and skip-the-line access to Westminster Abbey. Led by a certified Blue Badge guide, you'll witness the precision of the Changing of the Guard ceremony and explore Britain's coronation church without the wait.

Your journey begins with a walk through Parliament Square, past Big Ben (exterior only), and into the tree-lined paths of St. James's Park. Your guide leads you to a quieter spot to watch the Changing of the Guard near Buckingham Palace, where the Queen's Guard march in their iconic red uniforms and bearskin hats.

After the ceremony, you'll skip the long ticket lines at Westminster Abbey, Britain's coronation church where kings and queens have been crowned for nearly 1,000 years. Your guide brings the vaulted ceilings and stained glass to life with stories of royal intrigue and history.

Inside the Abbey, you'll walk past Queen Elizabeth I's tomb, see the Coronation Chair used in royal ceremonies for centuries, and explore Poets' Corner where literary legends rest. Your guide reveals hidden details about coronations, weddings, and centuries of British history carved in stone.

The tour concludes at Westminster Abbey, leaving you perfectly positioned to continue exploring central London. With a maximum group size of 20, you'll get a personal experience of London's most sought-after royal attractions.

Opt to extend your experience by choosing the full-day option. Take a break to enjoy some free time for lunch before meeting up with your guide again. Then, relax on a scenic river cruise before exploring the Tower of London and its Crown Jewels.

*Please note that the Changing of the Guard currently occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays only. On alternate days, we will see the Changing of the Guard at the Horse Guards Parade instead.
