A day of relaxation and discovery from Kigali to Musanze

Your day begins in Kigali with a departure towards Musanze. Along the way, make your first stop at Sōoko Xperiences, a popular café, lounge, and shopping area located on the Kigali-Musanze road, near Nyirangarama/Gakenke. Enjoy this break for lunch in a pleasant atmosphere before continuing your adventure.

After lunch, continue on to Lake Ruhondo for a boat excursion of about 1.5 hours. Hop aboard and enjoy a pleasant trip on the waters of the lake while admiring the landscapes of the region's volcanoes, its green hills and its peaceful natural environment.

Then continue your exploration with a visit to an underground cave. Explore this fascinating natural environment and discover another side of the landscape and heritage of the Musanze region. Comfortable shoes are recommended for this part of the experience.

After visiting the cave, head to the Grotta Resort to enjoy a moment of relaxation and conviviality. Enjoy your meal on site with a drink, then take advantage of the pool and jacuzzi to cool off and relax in a natural setting.

The experience continues with a visit to a small local farm, where you can meet the cows Madoudou and Manana and get a closer look at the agricultural and rural life of the region. This moment will allow you to have an authentic encounter and discover a more personal aspect of local life.

After enjoying all the things to do, begin the return journey to Kigali. The estimated time of drop-off is around 5:30 PM, after a day full of discovery, relaxation, and authentic moments.
