Start your day with 7:30 AM pickup from your hotel and set off on a scenic drive through Sri Lanka's lush landscapes. Arrive at the Sinharaja Rain forest by 9:00 AM, ready to explore one of the country's most pristine natural wonders.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a sanctuary for an incredible diversity of flora and fauna. The rain forest is a treasure trove of endemic species, including mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and an abundance of trees and insects.
Specially known for bird watching, the rain forest is home to 20 of Sri Lanka's 26 endemic bird species. Witness the fascinating phenomenon of mixed feeding flocks, led by the great Racket-tailed Drongo and the noisy Orange-billed Babbler.
Visit to 7 waterfalls in the jungle & you get a opportunity to swim in one of the waterfalls, hence come prepared with your swim wear.
