Continue to the sacred Kande Vihara Temple in Aluthgama, one of the most important Buddhist temples in southern Sri Lanka. Admire the giant seated Buddha statue and explore the peaceful temple grounds while learning about local Buddhist traditions and history.

Next, visit the stunning Brief Garden, the former home and landscaped garden of renowned Sri Lankan landscape designer Bevis Bawa.
