Begin your tour with a pickup from Aripot Ella. Travel through beautiful countryside landscapes and visit the ancient Buduruwagala Temple, a remarkable archaeological site famous for its giant rock-carved Buddha statues dating back over 1,000 years.
Continue towards Ella and visit the spectacular Ravana Falls, one of the most famous waterfalls in Sri Lanka. Next, explore Ravana Cave, a legendary site associated with the Ramayana story.
Visit the mysterious Nil Diya Pokuna, an underground water pond hidden beneath the rocks and considered one of the most fascinating hidden attractions in the region. Continue to Sita Eliya and visit the sacred Sita Amman Temple, one of the most important Ramayana pilgrimage sites in Sri Lanka.
Afterwards, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England,” where you will enjoy a city tour including Gregory Lake, the historic Old Post Office, colonial-era buildings, beautiful gardens, and scenic streets surrounded by mountains.
Visit a tea plantation and tea factory to learn about the production of world-famous Ceylon Tea while enjoying breathtaking views over the tea-covered hills. Stop at several viewpoints around Pussellawa and Nuwara Eliya for panoramic views and photography opportunities.
