Experience the natural beauty and cultural highlights of southern Sri Lanka on a 1.5-hour Koggala River Safari. Cruise through peaceful waterways surrounded by lush mangroves, small islands, and traditional villages—an ideal experience for nature lovers, couples, and families.
During the safari, there is around a 50% chance of seeing wildlife such as crocodiles, colorful birds, and monkeys, depending on natural conditions. Guests who wish may enjoy hand-feeding friendly monkeys using fruits they bring with them, as well as a relaxing natural fish therapy experience in the river.
The tour includes a visit to a traditional cinnamon garden, where you can learn how world-famous Ceylon cinnamon is grown and processed. You will also visit a peaceful riverside Buddhist temple, offering insight into local spiritual life and a calm setting for photos. At the end of the experience, guests may optionally visit a local spice and herbal garden, where Sri Lanka’s medicinal plants and spices are introduced.
