Set sail on a full-day sailing trip from Gothenburg to Vinga Island. Explore the island, enjoy a West Coast buffet, and relax on board with coffee, hot drinks, and traditional Swedish fika.
Meet at Stenpiren in central Gothenburg and be welcomed aboard April, a 45-foot steel sailing yacht. After a short introduction and safety briefing, get settled on board and prepare for departure.
Cast off and sail through the beautiful Gothenburg archipelago towards Vinga. Depending on the wind and weather conditions, the exact route and sailing time may vary. Along the way, enjoy the scenery, fresh sea air, and the changing landscape of the archipelago. Coffee, other hot drinks, and traditional Swedish fika are included and served during the journey.
Arrive at Vinga and moor in the charming harbor. Once safely settled, step ashore and explore the island. Discover the island's unique character, historic lighthouse, and beautiful surroundings. Take a walk across the rocky landscape, visit the lighthouse, and enjoy the spectacular views over the Kattegat and the surrounding archipelago.
Return to April for a generous West Coast buffet lunch. The buffet features local Swedish West Coast specialties and seasonal ingredients, with the exact selection varying depending on the season. Enjoy the meal together on board while taking in the views of the sea and Vinga.
After your time at Vinga and the lunch on board, cast off and begin your journey back towards Gothenburg. The return sail offers another opportunity to enjoy the archipelago, with the evening light often creating a particularly beautiful atmosphere on the water.
Return to Stenpiren in central Gothenburg, where the experience comes to an end.
