Discover the Magic of the Swedish Forest – Just 30 Minutes from Stockholm

Step off the train at the edge of a serene nature reserve and join us for a gentle walk through Sweden’s enchanting forest. Your guides? Signe and Lavender, a loving mother-and-daughter Labrador duo, ready to greet you with wagging tails.

Wander through moss-covered woods, breathe in the fresh forest air, and follow winding paths past a sparkling lake where beavers build their homes and birds call from the treetops. Climb a birdwatching tower for a sweeping view of a peaceful birdlake, and stroll past a charming 1700s barn and fields dotted with grazing sheep—lands that have been lived on since the Iron Age.

I’ll be your guide: a Swedish biologist, nature therapist, and artist, sharing stories about the forest, its creatures, and the secrets hidden in moss, mushrooms, and trees. Feel free to touch the soft moss under your feet—or even walk barefoot if the weather allows—and keep your binoculars ready for glimpses of deer, sea eagles, squirrels, and other forest inhabitants.

Midway, we’ll pause at a quiet spot among the trees or by the lake to sip coffee or mushroom tea, paired with a home-baked Swedish treat, soaking in the peace and beauty of nature.

When the walk ends, the adventure doesn’t have to stop: return to Stockholm, visit a cozy café, take a refreshing swim, or explore the world-famous Millesgården art museum—all easily accessible by foot or train.
