Description
Experience Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe with a local guide & limited group. Travel via Grindelwald and return through charming Wengen and Lauterbrunnen Valley, avoiding the standard out-and-back route
Discover Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe on a carefully designed small-group experience that goes beyond the standard tourist route.
Meet your local guide in Interlaken and journey into the heart of the Swiss Alps by train and cable car. Travel through the picturesque village of Grindelwald before boarding the spectacular Eiger Express gondola, soaring above forests and alpine landscapes to Eiger Glacier Station.
Continue aboard the historic Jungfrau Railway to Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest railway station at 3,454 metres. At the summit, enjoy unforgettable views from the Sphinx Observation Deck, overlooking the UNESCO-listed Aletsch Glacier and surrounding Alpine peaks.
Explore the Ice Palace, walk across the Snow Plateau, and enjoy free time to take photos, relax, and experience the unique high-alpine environment.
Unlike most Jungfraujoch tours, your return journey follows a different route. Descend through the car-free mountain village of Wengen, known for its traditional Swiss chalets and stunning mountain scenery, before continuing to the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley, famous for its towering cliffs and 72 waterfalls. Admire the iconic Staubbach Falls before returning to Interlaken.
With a maximum of 10 participants, this tour offers a relaxed pace, personalised attention, and a more authentic Swiss experience. Your multilingual local guide shares fascinating stories about the Jungfrau region, the engineering marvel of the Jungfrau Railway, and the legendary Eiger North Face.
This is more than a visit to Jungfraujoch—it's the most complete way to experience the Bernese Alps in a single day.
