Description

Join a porcelain painting workshop in Zurich's Old Town. Learn from a local artist, create your own piece, and take it home or have it shipped to you.
Step into Buba Studio, an independent art studio and showroom in Zurich’s Old Town, just a few steps from Paradeplatz, and discover the art of contemporary porcelain painting. Join Željka, a contemporary artist with an academic background in fine arts, for an intimate, hands-on workshop and an introduction to her creative approach.

Begin by exploring the studio and Željka’s original artworks. Learn about the materials and techniques used in porcelain painting, including how to create lines, shapes, textures, and compositions. Then, decorate your own porcelain piece using professional ceramic colors and drawing materials.

Work freely or receive individual guidance to develop your idea. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, encouraging experimentation and personal expression. No previous artistic or ceramic experience is required.

All necessary materials and one porcelain piece per participant are included. After the workshop, your decorated piece remains in the studio to be professionally fired, making the decoration permanent. Collect your finished piece from the studio after two days, or have it carefully packed and shipped to you for an additional fee.

This workshop is ideal for travelers seeking an authentic local experience, as well as for Zurich residents, families, and private groups. Enjoy a creative activity in a small-group setting, with personal attention from the artist.
