3-Day Safari from Kilimanjaro – Serengeti & Ngorongoro Adventure
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Karatu
When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your friendly driver-guide will meet you and help with your bags. Then you will start your journey to Karatu, a beautiful town close to Ngorongoro. The drive takes about two hours through green farms, small villages, and rolling hills. It’s a relaxing way to see how people live in the countryside.
You will stay in a quiet lodge surrounded by trees and coffee plantations. After checking in, take time to relax in the garden, enjoy a warm dinner, and get ready for the safari days ahead.
Day 2: Safari in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, drive toward the Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife areas. On the way, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you can stop for a short game drive. Here you may see elephants, zebras, lions, and maybe the rare black rhino.
Enjoy your picnic lunch with amazing views of the landscape before continuing to the southern Serengeti and Ndutu area, known for big herds and predators. In the afternoon, arrive at your comfortable tented camp, where you can relax, watch the sunset, and enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Arusha
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Ndutu plains. The light is perfect for photos, and animals are very active during this time. Depending on the season, you might see wildebeest with their newborn calves, as well as lions, cheetahs, and many birds.
After breakfast, begin your drive back to Arusha, enjoying the changing landscapes along the way. You can stop for souvenirs or short breaks before arriving in the afternoon. Your driver will drop you at your hotel or the airport for your next flight.
