Uncover a real pearl from your own oyster and shape it into jewelry you can wear home. A welcome drink and hands-on expert support are part of this Pearl Farm workshop.
Step into Pearl Farm and begin with a friendly welcome, a look at the brand, and the tale of how pearls are formed. You'll come to understand why no two pearls are alike, each one flawed in its own way and left entirely to chance, before a straightforward run-through of the tools and how to open an oyster.
With your apron and gloves ready, choose the oyster you like best and open it by hand to discover the pearls tucked inside. Place them into a cleaning solution, let the sand timer run its course, then rinse and wipe them until they shine bright.
Then comes the fun of making. Point out where you'd like your pearls drilled, and our staff will handle the drilling and polishing on your behalf. You'll master a few easy techniques for threading and building your pearls into a complete piece, while our team takes care of the careful fastening and finishing touches.
As your visit ends, capture a lasting photo at our signature check-in area and take your handmade piece home in a gift box with a warranty card. Should you have pearls to spare, keep them in a glass jar to display or return another day to create something new, with no extra workshop cost at all.
