DAY 1: HANOI – BAI DINH OR HOA LU – TRANG AN – MUA CAVE (Lunch, Dinner)
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Red River Delta countryside, with lush rice fields and peaceful villages along the way.
Upon arrival, you can choose between two cultural highlights:
Option 1: Bai Dinh Pagoda Complex – Visit the largest Buddhist complex in Southeast Asia. Marvel at massive bronze Buddha statues, including 50 stone Arhat statues, and admire the giant bronze bells weighing up to 36 tons. The panoramic mountain setting creates a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
Option 2: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – Explore the historic capital of Vietnam from the 17th century. Visit temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, and learn about the early foundations of Vietnamese history.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board a traditional sampan boat and glide through a network of caves such as Lam Cave, Vang Cave, and Thanh Truot Cave. Drift along tranquil rivers surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains, hidden valleys, and lush jungle scenery.
In the afternoon, challenge yourself with a hike up Mua Cave (Ngoa Long Mountain). From the top, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc valley and its winding rivers — one of the most iconic views in Vietnam.
Check in to your homestay or bungalow. Relax by the pool or enjoy the peaceful countryside before dinner. Evening at leisure.
DAY 2: TAM COC – CYCLING – HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch)
Wake up to fresh air and enjoy breakfast at your accommodation. After some free time, check out and head to Tam Coc.
Take a relaxing boat ride along the Ngo Dong River, passing through three natural caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. Admire the stunning limestone karsts rising dramatically from the rice fields.
Later, enjoy a cycling tour through quiet villages, rice paddies, and rural landscapes. This is a perfect chance to experience local life and capture beautiful photos of the countryside.
After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Hanoi by bus. Arrive in the late afternoon, marking the end of a memorable journey.
