Modern artisans have revived this iconic art using eco-friendly dyed goose and natural peacock feathers. Combined with metallic backings and traditional inlay skills, this ethical adaptation keeps the brilliant blue charm of Dian Cui alive while protecting nature!

In this immersive workshop, you will learn the precise, step-by-step process of shaping and setting feathers to create your own glowing vintage accessory.

Step-by-Step Experience
Feather Stiffening & Pattern Tracing: Coat the back of the feather with white glue to stiffen it. Trace your chosen metallic frame pattern using tracing paper, then cut out the individual shapes.
Precision Feather Cutting: Secure the paper templates onto the feathers with masking tape and carefully trim the feathers to match the exact size of the frame compartments.
Feather Inlay & Setting: Apply adhesive inside the metal frame. Using tweezers, carefully align and press each feather piece into place—ensuring the glossy, smooth side faces up.
Final Assembly & Accessory Fitting: Attach your preferred hairpins, ear hooks, or brooch backings, and pack your hand-crafted piece of royal heritage home!
