Day 1: Arrival in Paro and Thimphu Sightseeing

Begin your journey with a warm welcome at Paro Airport. Head to Thimphu, the capital city, and check into your hotel. Spend the day exploring the city’s highlights, choosing from attractions like the Takin Preserve, Memorial Chorten, Chang-yul Park, National Library, Handmade Paper Factory, or Centenary Farmers Market.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing

Continue your exploration of Thimphu with a visit to Kuenselphodrang, where you can enjoy a dinner with an audience with His Eminence or Lamas. Alternatively, opt for a cultural program with or without a bonfire. You can also choose to sponsor the installation of an 8-inch Buddha statue inside the Buddha Dordenma.

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha

Travel to Punakha, a picturesque valley known for its stunning landscapes and historical significance. Spend the day cycling through the valley, taking in the breathtaking views and enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Day 4: Punakha Tshechu

Experience the vibrant Punakha Tshechu festival, a colorful celebration of Bhutanese culture and spirituality. Enjoy the festival in a private space with live translation by a monk, or simply soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the performances.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro

Return to Paro and enjoy a leisurely lunch at Kitchu Lhakhang in the ceremonial ground. Spend the evening exploring the town at your own pace, taking in the sights and sounds of this charming city.

Day 6: Departure

Bid farewell to Bhutan as you are transferred to Paro Airport for your departure flight.
