Descrizione

Pedal through Bhutan’s valleys, hike to cliffside monasteries, and join monks for meditation. Try your hand at archery, soak in a hot stone bath, and discover vibrant village life along the way.
Begin your adventure in Paro, where you’ll be greeted by sweeping Himalayan views before heading to Thimphu, Bhutan’s vibrant capital. Along the way, cross the iconic iron chain bridge at Tachhog Lhakhang and explore the impressive Thimphu Tashichoe Dzong, a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture. Witness daily rituals at the Memorial Chorten and join locals at the archery ground, soaking up the unique atmosphere of Thimphu.

Travel through dramatic mountain passes to the serene glacial valley of Phobjikha. Pause at Dochu-la Pass to admire 108 chortens and panoramic Himalayan vistas. In Phobjikha, visit Gangtey Gonpa, perched above the valley, and hike nature trails through pine forests and bamboo groves. During winter, spot rare black-necked cranes. Immerse yourself in monastic life at Gangtey Shedra—participate in prayers, meditation, and even picnic with monks or attend a Dharma talk, gaining insight into Bhutan’s spiritual traditions.

Continue to Punakha, Bhutan’s ancient capital, where you’ll stroll through Sopsokha village and visit the famed Punakha Dzong, set at the confluence of two rivers. Cross Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge and enjoy the tranquil valley. Return to Paro for a hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched dramatically on a cliffside, and visit sacred sites like Dra Karpo and Kichu Lhakhang.

Conclude with a traditional hot stone bath and a taste of Bhutanese archery before a final hike to Chumphu Lhakhang, home to the mystical floating statue of Dorji Phagmo.

Your journey ends in Paro, with memories of mountain landscapes, spiritual encounters, and Bhutanese hospitality.
