Uyuni: 2-Day Salt Flats Tour with Incahuasi Island

Begin your adventure with a short walk through the center of Uyuni to acclimate, get to know the urban environment, and make basic purchases.

Start your adventure with a visit to the Uyuni Train Cemetery, where you can see Bolivia's first locomotives. Next, explore the picturesque town of Colchani to admire traditional crafts and salt products.

Continue to the majestic Salar de Uyuni, where you will walk on the vast white surface, visit the Ojos del Salar, and explore a Salt Museum built entirely of this mineral.

The journey will also take you to the imposing Isla Incahuasi, where you will hike to the top to marvel at the giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations. Take time to capture fun photos with the unique perspective offered by the white surface of the salt flat.

End your day in the picturesque town of Coquesa, located at the foot of the Tunupa volcano, where you will spend the night.

On the second day, after a delicious breakfast, continue the circuit to reach the viewpoint (4200 meters above sea level). Admire the mummies from the pre-Inca period, a fascinating cemetery that reveals the way our ancestors buried their dead.

A local guide will give you detailed explanations about the mummies. From this point, enjoy the beauty and immensity of the wonderful white desert, with its surrounding islands and mountains.

On the way back to the lodge, enjoy lunch. During the return to Uyuni, marvel at the unique landscape of the salt flat, making sure to capture unforgettable photographs with the impressive perspectives offered by this environment.
