A family property with roots dating back to 1596, this historic estate opens its doors to you for an exclusive visit, away from the crowds and full of character.
The experience kicks off with a stroll through the family's private gardens, designed in French style and inspired by Versailles, a rare and charming setting in the Douro. As you stroll through the gardens, the estate, and the old country lanes, you'll hear the story of the family, the Douro, and Port wine, all in a close, welcoming, and soulful atmosphere.
Then it's time for the tasting, held in our over 200-year-old Port wine warehouses. Here, in a space with authenticity and a unique atmosphere, we'll present our still and Port wines, as well as our extra virgin olive oil, all produced locally on the Estate, with artisanal dedication and respect for tradition.
At the end of the visit, you're invited to stay as long as you like. You can wander freely through the vineyards, woods, and gardens, or just relax by the pool. All of this is part of the experience, with no extras, no rush, just time to enjoy.

When you arrive at Quinta de Santa Júlia, please park next to the winery, located on the main road of the property. This is the most suitable and safest place to leave your vehicle.
The parking lot is easily accessible, with enough space to maneuver and park comfortably.
After parking, walk along a short path to the main house, where you will be welcomed by our team. The walk takes only 1 minute.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes in advance so that you can enjoy the beginning of the experience at your leisure.
If you need assistance or have mobility difficulties, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to help.
