From Paphos: Limassol & Aphrodite’s Rock with Free Time

Discover Limassol on a day trip from Paphos, with a stop at Aphrodite’s Rock, free time to shop and dine, and an optional guided walking tour of Limassol’s Old Town.
Begin your day with a comfortable hotel pickup in Paphos and travel along Cyprus’ scenic southern coastline. Your first stop is at Aphrodite’s Rock, where you’ll enjoy a short photo stop at one of the island’s most iconic landmarks.

Continue towards Limassol, passing popular seaside resorts and catching a glimpse of the ancient ruins of Amathus along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off near the old harbour area, close to the city’s historic centre.

From here, enjoy approximately 3 hours of free time to explore Limassol at your own pace. Wander through the narrow cobbled streets of the Old Town, browse local souvenir and craft shops, or relax at one of the many cafés and tavernas. You may also choose to join an optional walking tour through the historic centre, led by the tour escort, subject to time and group interest.

Take time to visit the elegant Limassol Marina, known for its yachts, seaside promenade, and dining options. History lovers may wish to stop by the medieval Limassol Castle (optional visit), famously associated with Richard the Lionheart.

On the return journey, sit back and enjoy a scenic drive through lush citrus plantations before arriving back in Paphos in the late afternoon.
