Saona Island: Speedboat + Catamaran Day Trip with Lunch

Small group, two boats, one island. This Saona day trip caps the group at 20 guests and pairs a speedboat outbound with a catamaran return — so you skip the crowded 60-seat cattle-boat experience most operators run, and get both the thrill of a fast crossing and a relaxed sail home.

The day starts with hotel pickup between Uvero Alto, Bávaro, Punta Cana, Cabeza de Toro, Cap Cana, and Bayahibe — one of the widest coverage zones for this route. From the marina, board the speedboat and head to the Piscina Natural, a shallow sandbar in the middle of the sea where you'll stop for 30 to 40 minutes to swim and spot starfish in waist-deep water.

From there, transfer to the catamaran and continue to Saona Island. You'll have around three hours on the beach to swim, walk the shoreline, or relax under the palms before a Dominican lunch is served around 1:00 p.m.: fresh fish, chicken, pasta, rice, salads, and bread, with unlimited beer, rum, soft drinks, water, and coffee at the beach bar.

The catamaran cruises back in the afternoon with rum, soft drinks, and water on board, returning to your pickup point between 6 and 7 p.m. Runs daily, year-round.
