Kathmandu: Spend Quality Time in a Nepali School

Visit a local school in Nepal and spend time with the students and teachers. Join the students in the classroom, take part in a lesson, and enjoy a simple English and Nepali language exchange.
Begin by visiting a local school and meeting the teachers and students. Take some time to become familiar with the school environment and see how a normal school day unfolds. Join the students in the classroom and take part in friendly interaction during a lesson or school activity.

As you spend time together, share stories about your life, where you come from, your experiences, and everyday life. The students can share their own stories, giving you a chance to learn about their routines, interests, and experiences in Nepal.

Enjoy a simple English and Nepali language exchange by teaching each other useful words, phrases, and everyday expressions. Beyond language, discover each other’s cultures through conversation. Talk about traditions, festivals, food, family life, school experiences, and the things that are part of everyday life in Nepal and in your home country.

After the classroom activities, relax and have fun with the students by playing games together. This informal time allows you to connect naturally, laugh, and enjoy the school atmosphere beyond the classroom.

Depending on the school’s arrangements, share snacks or lunch together and experience another simple part of daily school life in Nepal. Finally, say goodbye to the teachers and students and end your visit with memories of the people you met and the conversations you shared.
