What is a vertical tasting ?

A vertical tasting is a rare opportunity to discover how the same wine evolves over time. Guided by one of our experienced guides, you will explore the history of Château Picque Caillou, its exceptional terroir, the winemaking process that shapes each vintage, and the influence of each growing season on the wine's character. It is a fascinating journey into the art of ageing, where every vintage tells its own story.

In an intimate and elegant setting, take the time to compare, appreciate and discuss five carefully selected vintages, chosen for both their quality and their ageing potential.

Throughout this guided tasting, you will discover how time transforms a wine, revealing new aromas, textures and layers of complexity. Compare the subtle differences between vintages while gaining a deeper understanding of the estate's expertise and the unique expression of each harvest.

This experience is perfect for both knowledgeable wine enthusiasts and curious amateurs seeking an authentic and educational tasting that highlights the remarkable influence of bottle ageing on a single wine.
