Leave Tbilisi in the morning and travel north along the historic Georgian Military Highway, one of the most scenic routes in the Caucasus. Your journey begins with views over the turquoise Jinvali Reservoir before exploring the medieval Ananuri Fortress, once home to local feudal rulers.
Continue deeper into the mountains, passing rivers, dramatic valleys, and panoramic viewpoints. Stop at the famous Gudauri Friendship Monument, where the Caucasus unfolds in every direction.
Unlike standard group tours, this experience includes a warm homemade lunch hosted by a local family in the mountains. Taste authentic Georgian dishes, local flavors, and traditional hospitality while learning about mountain culture and daily life from the people who live there.
