See the VINETA, a memorial to the lost Magdeborn church and the sites that made way for the Espenhain open-cast lignite mine. This resulted in today's Störmthaler See and Markkleeberger See.

In the ever-growing Leipzig New Lake District, the Krystallpalast Varieté Leipzig has been exploring new shores since June 2011, operating the VINETA on Lake Störmthal - the extraordinary floating event venue in the south of Leipzig.

With an eaves height of 15 meters, the VINETA is currently the tallest floating structure on a German lake. In its historical and aesthetic uniqueness, the 'floating church' is a very special venue for weddings, cultural events, and exclusive events.
