Descrizione

Explore Accra on foot through vibrant communities, rich culture, and local street food. A unique tour blending storytelling, heritage, and tasty bites. Real people, real flavors, real Ghana.
Accra on Foot: Culture & Food Hunt is not your typical city tour. This immersive walking experience takes you deep into the everyday life of Accra’s vibrant local neighborhoods — places like Nima, Mamobi, or Jamestown — where culture lives in the streets and flavor tells a story.

Led by a local guide and food storyteller: Haja, you'll uncover hidden gems that most visitors never see: colorful alleyways, community mosques, historic corners, and lively marketplaces. You’ll learn about migration, community, and the women who power Ghana’s food system — all while walking side by side with the people who call these places home.

And then, we hunt for the best street food — not what’s trendy, but what’s real. Taste freshly wrapped waakye, perfectly grilled tilapia, spicy chibom, or an ice-cold cup of sobolo straight from the source. It’s a “chop like a local” experience that fills your belly and feeds your curiosity.

What’s Included:
- Guided cultural walking tour (1.5–2 hrs)
- Street food tastings (1–1.5 hrs)
- Local drinks or water
- Insightful stories and interaction
- Optional add-ons: spice blends, tote bags, or photo bundles (at a cost)

Duration: 3 hours
- Meeting Point: Sent upon booking (usually central Accra)
- Group Size: Small & intimate for a personal feel
- Language: English (basic Hausa/Twi/Ga phrases for fun!)

Perfect for:
Locals looking for a new experience, tourists seeking authenticity, diasporans connecting to their roots, and anyone who loves food, culture, and people.
