Accompanied by a local guide and in a small group, you'll discover Guadeloupean rum through a four-stage journey, inspired by the four rum tastings that traditionally punctuate the day.
First stop: Décolaj – The sugar cane fields
Your immersion begins in the heart of the sugar cane fields. You'll discover the plant, its connection to the land, and its importance in local history. A first rum tasting, accompanied by a didiko, kicks off the experience, punctuated by a cultural performance related to the fields. Soft drinks are also available.
Second stop: Ti lagoute – The Rum Museum
You'll continue with a visit to the Rum Museum, unique in Guadeloupe, which traces the history of rum, the Reimonenq family, distillation, and the region, while also showcasing a remarkable collection of insects. A new rum and didiko tasting, accompanied by a cultural event, will enrich this moment. You'll enter the world of Léopold Reimonenq.
Third stop: CRS – The distillery
Then dive into the heart of the family's know-how, from cane to rum. You'll discover the manufacturing stages and the secrets of this emblematic heritage. A rum tasting, a *didiko*, and traditional cultural entertainment accompany this visit.
Fourth stop: Pété pieds - The Reimonenq family home
The experience ends on the private terrace of Mr. Reimonenq's house, a family and intimate place usually closed to the public. You'll share a final rum tasting, accompanied by a sweet didiko and cultural entertainment, in a friendly and authentic atmosphere.
