Descrizione

Unique blend of rugged savannahs, dry riverbeds, and towering acacia trees. It's a haven for wildlife lovers, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 500 bird species.
1.Diani/Mombasa – Tsavo East – Diani/Mombasa (Round trip Approx. 400km)
Depart from your Diani/Mombasa area location and proceed along the Nairobi – Mombasa highway on a scenic drive of approximately 2.5 hours along smooth tarmac.
By 7:30 AM, you’ll arrive at Bachuma Gate, the main entrance to Tsavo East.
As the gate opens, the vast wilderness stretches before you — golden grasses, red soil, and distant hills shimmering under the morning sun. Within minutes, you might spot your first elephant family crossing the road, or a tower of giraffes feeding lazily on acacia trees. Your first game drive takes you deep into the park’s heart. Look out for: The red elephants of Tsavo, famous for their rust-colored hides, antelopes, zebras, and herds of buffalo, Lions lounging under acacia shade, Leopards or cheetahs (if luck is on your side), Colorful birds, from lilac-breasted rollers to hornbills.
In the afternoon, you’ll head to one of Tsavo’s scenic lodges for lunch — perhaps Voi Safari Lodge, perched on a hill overlooking a waterhole where elephants, warthogs, and impalas gather to drink.
As you enjoy your buffet lunch, the panoramic view below comes alive — nature’s theater in motion.
After lunch, embark on one final Tsavo East day tour, exploring the Aruba Dam and Galana River area. This is one of the best spots to see wildlife gathering near water sources. Keep your camera ready for elephants splashing playfully or a crocodile sunbathing by the riverbank.
As the sun begins to set, you’ll start your return journey. Arrive back in Mombasa or Diani Beach by late evening, filled with stories, photos, and memories to last a lifetime.

2.Malindi/Watamu – Tsavo East – Malindi/Watamu (Round trip Approx. 360 km)
05:00 AM – We’ll be up early for a busy safari day, traveling along the Malindi-Sala Gate Road on a picturesque drive while enjoying the sunrise on the way
08:30 AM – Enter Tsavo East National Park via Sala Gate
09:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Game drive through Aruba Dam, Voi River Circuit, and Yatta Plateau
The big sky and rugged terrain of Tsavo East will greet us as we rumble into the park, on our first game drive. The lightly foliated plains will make the animals easier to spot, plus your driver/guide has a keen eye and a strong sense of where to track the animals.
We’ll look for the resident elephants who like to roll in the park’s red-oxide soil giving themselves a fine coating of the rust-like colour. We may also find them at the park’s distinctive watering holes, along with zebra, antelope and other game looking to sustain themselves.
01:00 PM – We’ll break for lunch at one of the safari lodges or tented camps within the park. This will give you a good idea of the accommodations should you decide to return for a longer safari
02:00 PM – 03:30 PM –We’re off on another short drive tracking more big game but also smaller animals like eland, gerenuk, and impala.
04:00 PM – Begin return journey to Watamu/Malindi, arriving at about 1800 hrs.
