Enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge, followed by an optional evening by the fire pit, listening to the sounds of the African night.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Magic and Night Safari
Wake early for a sunrise game drive in the Maasai Mara, when predators are most active and the golden light illuminates the plains. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and leisure time to relax by the pool or enjoy the lodge grounds.
Return to the Mara for afternoon exploration, culminating with a classic African sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking the savannah. As dusk falls, exit the national park and enter a bordering conservancy that permits night drives. With a powerful spotlight, your guide will unveil the Mara's secretive nocturnal life—from genets and aardvarks to hunting lions and prowling leopards. Enjoy a special arranged dinner in a safe, open-air boma within the conservancy, sharing stories of the evening's sightings.
Day 3: Amboseli Giants and Kilimanjaro Views
Depart the Maasai Mara after breakfast, enjoying the changing landscapes as you journey toward Amboseli. The majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro welcomes you as you arrive at your lodge for lunch.
Venture into Amboseli National Park for afternoon wildlife viewing, famous for its massive elephant herds against the stunning Kilimanjaro backdrop. Return to the lodge for dinner and an optional evening walk, or simply relax and soak in the views.
Day 4: Naivasha's Waters and Laikipia Wilderness
Depart Amboseli and drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving for lunch at your lakefront accommodation. Take a tranquil boat ride on Lake Naivasha to get up close to hippos and diverse waterbirds. Disembark on Crescent Island for a unique guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelope.
Continue north to the vast landscapes of the Laikipia Plateau. Settle into your comfortable tented camp at Ol Pejeta Conservancy for dinner. After your meal, your guide will lay out mats away from the lodge lights for a mesmerizing introduction to the Southern Hemisphere's night sky.
Day 5: Conservation and Return
Go on one last optional early morning game drive within Ol Pejeta, searching for rhinos and the Big Five. Have breakfast and begin the journey back to Nairobi, with a stop for lunch. Arrive in Nairobi and say goodbye to your guide and group, with drop-offs at airports or city hotels.
