This 2-day trip takes you to Samburu County. An exploration of two of the major parks in Samburu. You will get the chance to sight 5 of the Samburu Special & Swim in a natural pool at Buffalo Springs.

Day 1: Nairobi to Buffalo Springs National Reserve
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading north through scenic countryside and across the equator. We shall have a brief stop at the Equator in Nanyuki before proceeding. If lucky, we might spot MT\t. Kilimanjaro enroute. You will arrive in time for lunch in Isiolo before heading out for an afternoon game drive in Buffalo Springs National Reserve.

Start your adventure with an evening game drive, the best time to spot predators and active wildlife at Buffalo Springs National Reserve, known for its clear natural springs, palm groves, and diverse wildlife.

Return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve to Nairobi

Step out for an early morning safari at Samburu National Reserve while watching one of the most stunning sunrises from the camp beside R.Ewasonyiro. The park, which is famous for its Special Five, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx, species rarely found elsewhere in Kenya. As you explore the rugged terrain along the Ewaso Nyiro River, keep an eye out for elephants, lions, and leopards.

Enjoy a final game drive before beginning your journey back to Nairobi in the afternoon.
