Start your day with hotel pickup in central Ho Chi Minh City and travel by private air-conditioned car to Cu Chi. On the way, stop at a simple countryside market, where you can see local daily life, meet friendly sellers, and taste fresh seasonal tropical fruits.

Upon arrival at the Cu Chi Tunnels, watch a short documentary film about the area during wartime. Then explore the incredible underground tunnel system, a complex network that stretches for more than 250 kilometers. Learn how local people used the tunnels not only for hiding and fighting, but also for living, cooking, storing supplies, making weapons, holding meetings, and surviving during the war.

Walk through the tunnel site with your guide and discover secret entrances, underground rooms, traps, weapons, and wartime facilities. If you wish, you can crawl through a short section of the narrow tunnels to experience how people moved underground. You will also taste boiled tapioca with hot pandan tea, a simple dish that local people ate during wartime.

After visiting Cu Chi, enjoy lunch before returning to Ho Chi Minh City for an afternoon city tour. Visit either the War Remnants Museum to learn more about the Vietnam War, or the Reunification Palace, an important landmark known for its historical and architectural value.

Continue to admire the French colonial architecture of Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office. Then visit Jade Emperor Pagoda, a spiritual place where local Vietnamese and Chinese communities come to pray for love, family, and good fortune. End the tour at Ben Thanh Market, one of the city’s most famous landmarks, known for its lively atmosphere, local goods, and photo opportunities.

At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
