Experience the natural wonders of Chiapas with a two-day adventure visiting El Chiflón Waterfall, Montebello Lakes National Park, and the diverse biosphere of Montes Azules.
Day 1:
We will depart early from San Cristóbal de Las Casas to visit the majestic El Chiflón waterfall, where you can marvel at its impressive 70-meter drop. Afterward, we will visit the picturesque Montebello Lakes before transferring to Campamento Río Ixcan. Here, you'll spend the night next to the Lacantún River, accompanied by the sounds of howler monkeys. (Lunch and dinner included).
Day 2:
Early in the morning, we'll embark on a motorboat journey on the Lacantún River, offering an opportunity to observe the rich flora and fauna of the Chiapas jungle. With a bit of luck, you might spot toucans and macaws soaring across the river. We'll also take a jungle walk to visit some magnificent Ceiba trees. Later, we will return to San Cristóbal de Las Casas. (Breakfast included).
