So we created a different way to experience that feeling.

The Fake Wedding Experience is a fully private editorial-style photoshoot. You dress up as bride and groom in authentic handcrafted Oaxacan outfits and walk through some of the most beautiful corners of Oaxaca’s historic center while a professional photographer captures the entire experience.

Just you, your partner, and the most beautiful streets in Mexico as your backdrop.

What makes this experience unique:

She wears a traditional Oaxacan bridal dress — handcrafted by local artisans and designers whose work you won’t find anywhere else in the world. Her hair is styled in a traditional Oaxacan updo by an istmeña, a woman from the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, where this iconic hairstyle originates. It’s the kind of detail that transforms the experience into something deeply cultural, elegant, and unforgettable.

He wears a classic guayabera and sombrero — the traditional Oaxacan groom look, timeless and effortlessly elegant on camera.

Your bilingual local guide leads the entire experience through up to three iconic locations inside Oaxaca City’s historic center, while also providing creative direction and posing guidance throughout the session. Everything is designed to feel natural, effortless, and elevated from beginning to end.
