Pokhara: 4WD to Manang Lakes, Villages, Himalayan Views Tour

Day 1: Pokhara to Timang Gaun Drive

Our guide and driver pick you up with your name card and your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Pokhara. Riding in a comfortable 4WD jeep, you leave the city behind and follow the scenic Marsyangdi River. The drive offers stunning views of waterfalls, terraced fields, and the rising peaks of Lamjung Himal and Manaslu.
You pass through beautiful villages like Besisahar, Syange, and Dharapani before reaching Timang Gaun, a peaceful mountain village surrounded by pine forests. Enjoy the refreshing mountain air and breathtaking Himalayan views.
Overnight in Timang Gaun.

Day 2: Timang Gaun to Manang – Visit Gangapurna Lake & Green Lake

After breakfast, continue your journey deeper into the Himalayas. The road gets more adventurous as you climb higher toward Manang Valley.
On arrival at Manang (3,540 m), explore the traditional stone houses, monasteries, and yak herding lifestyle of the Manangi people.

In the afternoon, visit the region’s most beautiful natural attractions:

Gangapurna Lake – a turquoise glacial lake with incredible views of Mt. Gangapurna and Annapurna III.

Green Lake (Chongkar Lake) – a peaceful high-altitude lake surrounded by rocky cliffs.

Enjoy the dramatic Himalayan scenery and crisp mountain atmosphere before relaxing in your lodge.
Overnight in Manang.

Day 3: Drive to Khangshar & Local Exploration

After breakfast, take a short but scenic 4WD drive to Khangshar, a traditional village known as “The Last Village of Nepal” on the way toward Tilicho Lake.
Spend time exploring the old-style stone houses, Buddhist prayer walls, barley fields, and dramatic landscapes. The village offers perfect photo opportunities with views of Chulu peaks and the high mountain desert of Manang.
Walk around the village, meet friendly locals, or hike a short distance to viewpoints around Khangshar.
Return to your lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening.
Overnight in Manang or Khangshar.

Day 4: Drive Back to Pokhara

Today you begin your return journey from Manang back to Pokhara. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend from the high Himalayas to lush hills and river valleys.
Arrive in Pokhara by evening and transfer to your hotel.
