Swap the lakeside of Pokhara for the foothills of the Annapurna on this full-day hiking experience to Lwang & Ghalel Village. Just 26 km from Pokhara, this route takes you through lush forests, terraced fields, and Nepal’s first community tea garden, all while soaking in panoramic views of Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the Annapurna range.

Start with a scenic 1-hour drive from Pokhara to Khoramukh. From there, hike 45 minutes to Lwang Village (1,550m), famous for its community-run Gurung homestays and organic farming. Explore the tea garden, meet local families, and learn about traditional mountain life.

Continue uphill for 1 hour to Ghalel Village, a quieter, higher settlement with even better mountain vistas. Walk cobblestone trails, see almond farms, and experience authentic Gurung culture away from the crowds.

After lunch in the village, hike back to Khoramukh and drive to Pokhara by late afternoon. Perfect for travelers who want a taste of rural Nepal + mountain hiking without an overnight stay.
