Begin your day with a pickup from your Christchurch accommodation. Travel by road through the rural pastoral scenes of North Canterbury to Kaikoura, where mountains meet the sea.
Upon arrival, join Whale Watch for an exciting up-close encounter with these marvelous animals in their natural environment year-round. Your boat will also feature a unique, award-winning series of animation sequences designed to reveal Kaikoura’s hidden wildlife wonders both below and above the sea while the tour is taking place. Alternatively, you can join Wings Over Whales for a fantastic birds-eye view of the whales and other marine animals with stunning views of the Kaikoura coastline and mountain ranges. After your Whale Watch Tour enjoy a café lunch (own expense) and visit a seal colony. On your return to Christchurch (time permitting), a stop will be made at a Wineyard where a wine tasting will be arranged for your pleasure. Hotel pickups and drop offs are included in your tour.
