From Arequipa: Colca Canyon 3-Day Trekking Tour with Geyser Visit From Arequipa: 3-Day Trekking in the Colca Canyon, with a Visit to Geysers

Experience a fascinating adventure, hiking in the mountains of the Colca Canyon to visit different geysers. Also enjoy a hike through the depths of the Colca Canyon.
Day 1.- We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa between 3:00 and 3:30 in the morning. Then we will head to Chivay, where we will have breakfast before heading to the Cruz del Cóndor vantage point. We will stop here for 1 hour to enjoy the flight of the condor and the landscape. Here we will meet the local guide who will take us to the Infiernillo geyser. This geyser is located at an altitude of 4,400 meters. From the Infiernillo geyser, we will start a 1.5-hour hike to the Fuye geyser. This hike has an elevation difference of approximately 200 meters upward. During the hike, we'll spot cows, wild horses, and condors. Once at the Fuye geyser, we'll enjoy this magical place. It's a small valley of geysers, with several geysers in the shape of cauldrons boiling in the ground. From here, we'll walk to the van to head to the restaurant located at a natural vantage point. There, we'll have lunch with a panoramic view of the depth of the canyon. After lunch, we'll take the van for a 15-minute ride to the town of Cabanaconde.
DAY 2.- We will have breakfast, and then head by van to the Achachihua vantage point to enjoy the beautiful view it offers us. Afterwards, we will go to the start of the descent hike to the Colca Canyon. Here, we will meet the tour guide who will be in charge of the second and third days of hiking inside the Colca Canyon. At approximately 9:00 AM, we will begin our three-hour descent to the San Juan de Chuccho Valley. Here, we will have lunch and then continue walking for another three hours, with ups and downs, to the Sangalle Oasis. At the Sangalle Oasis, we'll check into our hotel and then enjoy the hotel pool. In the evening, at 7:00 PM, we'll have dinner and then go to sleep, bringing our second day to a close.

DAY 3.- Very early, at approximately 5:00 AM, we will begin the challenging and very rewarding 3-hour ascent From the Sangalle Oasis to the village of Cabanaconde.
In Cabanaconde, we'll have breakfast and then board the sightseeing bus to return to the city of Arequipa.
On the drop-off route, we will stop at different vantage points.
We will stop at the Antahuilque vantage point to see the pre-Inca terraces of the Colca Valley.
We'll stop at the Chacapi hot springs, a place where we can relax our legs after our hike.
We'll stop in the town of Chivay for our last lunch.
We will also stop at the volcano vantage point, the highest point of our tour, to observe the volcanic chain of southern Peru.
We will also stop at the Toqcrapama to see South American camelids, such as llamas, alpacas and vicuñas.
Our adventure will end two blocks away from Plaza de Armas in Arequipa at 5:30 PM.
