Enjoy an unforgettable excursion to the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Nature Reserve, one of the most impressive natural landscapes in southern Peru.

The tour begins with pick-up from hotels located in the historic center of Arequipa, heading towards the traditional district of Chiguata. There, we'll visit a vantage point with spectacular views of the volcanoes surrounding the city and admire the ancient agricultural terraces of pre-Inca origin. We will also visit the historic Church of the Holy Spirit before enjoying breakfast.

We will continue the journey through the high Andean landscapes of the reserve, where we can observe the native flora, such as the queñua, the yareta, and the tola, as well as admire the beauty of the Andes.

The main destination will be the Salinas Lagoon, a unique natural setting that, depending on the season, offers an impressive mirror effect or extensive salt flats. During the visit, we will have the opportunity to observe Andean flamingos (parihuanas), vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, and other species that inhabit this reserve. In the dry season, we'll also visit the salt extraction areas, which are ideal for taking photos with fun perspective effects.

Afterwards, we'll visit the Lojen Thermal Baths, where those who wish can enjoy a relaxing bath in the natural hot springs next to the small mud volcano.

Before returning to Arequipa, we'll stop for lunch (optional) in the Chiguata district.

This experience combines nature, wildlife, volcanic landscapes, and local culture, making it one of the best options to discover the beauty of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Nature Reserve.
