Iquitos: 5-Day Amazon Camp, Zipline & Jungle Tour

Explore the Amazon for 5 days with 4 nights at Amazon Camp, including jungle excursions, local communities, wildlife encounters, a hanging bridge and zipline.
Spend 5 days and 4 nights exploring the Amazon rainforest from Amazon Camp Lodge near Iquitos. Travel by boat along the Nanay, Amazonas and Momón rivers, discover jungle landscapes, visit local communities and enjoy guided rainforest activities.

Day 1 – Iquitos to Amazon Camp
Begin with a transfer from Iquitos to the river port and cruise along the Nanay and Amazon rivers. Visit a wildlife rescue center and learn about local species. Continue to a traditional sugarcane workshop before arriving at Amazon Camp. After lunch, take a jungle walk and visit the Bora community to learn about their traditions. Enjoy free time at the lodge, dinner and a guided night walk through the rainforest.

Day 2 – Rivers, Jungle and Waterfalls
After breakfast, explore the route of four rivers: Momón, Nanay, Amazonas and Itaya. Visit the Independence community and its viewpoint, then walk through the rainforest to see a giant lupuna tree and the Seven-Colored Waterfall. Return to the lodge for lunch and continue with afternoon activities. Enjoy free time, dinner and an evening activity at the lodge.

Day 3 – Zipline and Amazonian Communities
Start the day with the included hanging bridge and zipline experience among the trees. Continue by boat to an Amazonian butterfly center and learn about the butterfly life cycle. Visit an artisanal aquarium to see native Amazonian fish, then travel to Padrecocha to meet the Cocama community and learn about their traditions. After lunch, enjoy canoeing with the option to swim in the river under guide supervision. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 4 – Primary Rainforest
After breakfast, travel by boat to the rural community of San Antonio. Begin a guided walk through primary rainforest and discover medicinal, ornamental and timber plants, orchids, bromeliads, giant trees and native bird species. After lunch in San Antonio, return by boat to Amazon Camp and enjoy the evening at the lodge.

Day 5 – Amazon River and Return to Iquitos
After breakfast, navigate the Momón and Nanay rivers toward the Amazon River. Visit Fundo Don Pedrito to see paiche and Victoria Regia. Continue to Monkey Island and observe different monkey species. Enjoy lunch on board before visiting the Yagua community. You can optionally swim in the river before returning to the main port. Transfer to Iquitos airport or your hotel, ending the program.

Accommodation is provided for 4 nights at Amazon Camp Lodge, with meals included throughout the program. The package includes airport–lodge–airport transfers, guided excursions, the hanging bridge and zipline, meals and assistance during the activities.
