This thrilling one-day gorilla trekking tour offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Kigali to Volcanoes National Park and Back

Your adventure begins at 4:30 AM with hotel pickup in Kigali by your private guide and 4WD vehicle. With a packed breakfast and lunch, you’ll drive approximately 2.5 to 3 hours through Rwanda’s rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll attend a briefing at the park headquarters and be assigned a gorilla family group.

The gorilla trek begins as you hike into the misty rainforest, guided by experienced rangers. The trek may last between 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of the gorillas, but you are guaranteed an encounter. Once found, spend up to one hour quietly observing these incredible primates in their natural environment.

After this unforgettable encounter, return to the starting point for lunch and begin the drive back to Kigali, arriving between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. This marks the end of your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience.
