Day 1: Kigali – Scenic Transfer to Nyungwe National Park | Canopy Walkway & Zipline Adventure & Gisakura Tea Plantation Experience

Begin with an early morning pickup in Kigali by your professional driver-guide. As you travel through Rwanda’s famous rolling hills, enjoy breathtaking scenery of terraced countryside, local villages, and panoramic landscapes.

Along the way, enjoy a scenic lunch stop overlooking the beautiful thousand hills before continuing toward Nyungwe National Park.

Upon arrival at the park reception, begin your rainforest adventure with the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walkway experience. Suspended high above the forest floor, the canopy bridge offers spectacular views across ancient treetops while birdsong echoes through the rainforest.

Continue the excitement with an exhilarating zipline experience over lush valleys and forest landscapes, combining adrenaline with extraordinary natural beauty and finish with tea plantation experience by walking through rolling green tea fields while learning about Rwanda’s tea-growing traditions, harvesting techniques, and processing methods

After the activities, transfer to your lodge near the forest for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay surrounded by Nyungwe’s peaceful atmosphere.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking – Return to Kigali

The day begins early before sunrise as you head into the rainforest for one of Nyungwe’s most iconic experiences: chimpanzee trekking.

Accompanied by expert park guides and trackers, follow forest trails while listening to chimpanzee calls echoing through the misty jungle. Once located, spend unforgettable moments observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitat as they swing through trees, communicate, groom, and interact within their families.

After the trek, enjoy lunch before beginning the scenic drive back to Kigali with optional photo stops along the way.
