Kigali: Gorilla Guardian Village & Twin Lakes Day Trip

Early Morning at 8:00 am after your breakfast your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel/Airport in Kigali and drive you to Northern Province. The journey will take about 2.5 hours. You will enjoy the stunning beauty of Rwanda’s rolling scenery along the way. This is why the Rwanda referred as “The Land of a Thousand Hills.” You can ask your driver-guide about interesting places to see along the way or ask to stop for pictures.


On Arrival at Gorilla Guardian Village, you will enjoy many things during your visit, such as looking around traditional huts, trying local beers, seeing a traditional wedding ceremony, and listening to interesting stories. You are welcome to join the skilled traditional dancers and drummers who will put on a lively show of traditional Rwandan dances at the end of the experience. Later Have Lunch in one of the Local restaurants and drive to Twin lakes.

embark on a tranquil boat ride across the lakes, enjoying panoramic views of mist-covered volcanoes and lush greenery. Spot local fishermen in traditional dugout canoes and watch a variety of bird species that call the lakes home.

You’ll have the chance to visit small islands, interact with local communities, and learn about their traditions, agriculture, and crafts. Capture incredible photos and videos, Thereafter Return back to Kigali for your Hotel/flight.
