Hiking over the Roque Nublo

Gran Canaria is unique for its special climatic conditions as well as for its steep ravines and mountains. Combining welfare, health and Nature. We recommend you this route, with medium difficulty, where you will see undiscovered paths and magnificent views of our magnificent mountain ranges. During the route we will have the company of an expert guide who will explain the different species of vegetables in the area (native flora) as well as famous medicinal plants in the area by the old royal road that we will walk. We will ascend up to 1750 meters high where one of the emblems of Gran Canaria and the Canary Islands awaits us, the Natural Monument of Roque Nublo. We will rest with this wonderful picture and refresh ourselves by eating a snack and start our descent to the town of Ayacata, belonging to the historic town of Tejeda. A perfect ending to a day full of emotions and adventures. The travel starts at the western park of Roque Nublo which gives us magnificent views of our sister island Tenerife and El Teide (the highest point of Spain, about 3718 meters above sea level). With luck and depending on the season of the year we will see the mountain of Teide completely covered with snow, without any doubt its such a really spectacular picture and worth to see it.
