Leave Madrid on private minibus and head north into Spain’s wine country. Watch the landscape transform from dry plains to rolling vineyards as you arrive in Rioja Alavesa, a celebrated wine region. Visit the iconic Marqués de Riscal winery, named the world’s best in 2024. Tour the cellars, learn about Rioja’s prestigious wine classification, and enjoy a guided tasting. Then sit down to a relaxed lunch surrounded by vineyard views.
Arrive in San Sebastian and dive straight into its famous food culture. For dinner, join an award-winning pintxos tour through the Old Town, visiting local-favorite bars and tasting a variety of traditional bites paired with drinks.
Afterward, return to your 4-star hotel and relax after a full day of travel and tasting.
On day two, travel along the Basque coastline to the fishing village of Getaria. Visit a local winery to taste Txakoli, the region’s lightly sparkling white wine, while enjoying views over the Cantabrian Sea. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore and have a seafood lunch on your own with recommendations from your guide.
Making your way back to Madrid, stop in the historic city of Burgos, home to one of Spain’s most impressive Gothic cathedrals and a key stop on the Camino de Santiago. Explore the old town or relax at a café before returning to Madrid in the evening (approx. 7:30 PM).

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this tour, it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs or strollers.
Due to limited luggage space in the transport, each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. We recommend storing larger bags in Madrid and traveling with a small overnight bag.
This tour is adaptable for: Vegetarians, Pescatarians, Gluten free (not celiacs), Dairy free, Non-alcoholic options & Pregnant women, however, please note that you may not have a replacement food option at every stop (not recommended for vegans and those with celiac disease).
Those with dietary restrictions need to contact us before the tour so we can arrange your food, or we may not be able to accommodate you.
Guests with serious food allergies will need to sign an allergy waiver at the start of the tour.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a yellow WalksDevour sign. This tour meets outside Rodilla Cafe (Pl. del Emperador Carlos V, 9, Centro, 28012 Madrid) in Plaza Carlos V near Atocha train station.
