Your journey begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Colombo or Negombo, or directly from Bandaranaike International Airport. Your private, air-conditioned vehicle and English-speaking driver-guide will be with you for the entire journey.

Day 1: Colombo → Sigiriya → Kandy

Depart Colombo and travel to the Cultural Triangle. Your first stop is the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring 150+ Buddha statues and ancient cave paintings. From there, continue to the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress. Climb the 1,200 steps to the summit for breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle.

As the sun sets, arrive in Kandy, Sri Lanka's last royal capital. Visit the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which houses the tooth of Buddha in golden caskets. Overnight stay at a comfortable 3-star hotel in Kandy.

Day 2: Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Ella (Scenic Train)

After breakfast, drive through the hill country, stopping at Ramboda Falls for photos and a tea factory to learn about Ceylon tea production.
