Continue your trip to Hien Luong Bridge. Hien Luong Bridge across the Ben Hai River formed part of the border between North and South Vietnam from 1954 until reunification and was thus a crucial spot in the Dmz.

Today it is maintained as a major national monument for the reunification of Vietnam at the end of the Vietnam War. And there’s also a museum, propaganda war remnants, and two memorials.

The final destination you can visit is the Vinh Moc Tunnels. In many revolutionary bases on the “land of fire” in Quang Tri province, the system of Vinh Moc tunnels was a symbol of the strong will, refusing to step back of the Vietnamese people. In 1965, Vinh Moc village was completely destroyed under the devastation of the Us air force and artillery. So the tunnels are the real underground village for all the villagers.
