Begin your day by meeting your local guide and driver in Bac Son. Start your climb to Na Lay Peak, the most famous viewpoint in Bac Son. Follow the stone steps through the forest towards the summit. The climb includes approximately 1,200 stone steps and typically takes around 30–60 minutes, depending on fitness level.

Reach the summit and enjoy spectacular views across Bac Son Valley. From above, see the patchwork of rice fields, winding streams, villages, and traditional houses surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains. Spend time taking photographs and enjoying the panoramic landscape.

Walk back down the mountain and return to the valley floor. Take a short break before continuing to the surrounding countryside. Explore the valley by vehicle and make several scenic stops. Admire the distinctive landscape where expansive rice fields lie between towering limestone mountains. During the rice-growing season, the valley changes from bright green to golden yellow, creating one of the most recognizable landscapes of northern Vietnam.

Enjoy a traditional lunch featuring local specialties. Take a relaxing break before the afternoon exploration. Continue to Quynh Son Village, a traditional Tay community surrounded by the mountains of Bac Son. Explore the village and see traditional stilt houses with distinctive yin-yang tiled roofs.

Continue through the countryside surrounding the valley. Pass rice fields, small streams, and traditional houses while enjoying panoramic views of the limestone landscape. Stop at a scenic area overlooking the rice fields. Enjoy free time for photography and take in the peaceful landscape before returning to Bac Son.
